Touching. I used to feel the same when I went by the house where I grew up in Searcy. We had a pecan tree in the back yard and my dad loved flowers so there were all kinds of old fashion flowering bushes, roses and spring flowers. The house was still in pretty good shape last time I drove by, but the neighborhood wasn't so I vowed to stay away and just remember the block when it was new and every house had children in it. I had a great childhood!
Only Country Girls know where Home Place is on a farm.
