Gracie Lee’s Favorite Strawberry Cupcakes

March 28, 2016 By Talya Tate Boerner

Gracie Lee's favorite strawberry cupcakes

Man alive this is good. I’m making Gracie Lee’s favorite strawberry cupcakes for tomorrow’s THV11 food segment with Dining with Debbie. This was my Nana’s strawberry cake recipe but I decided to go with cupcakes for easier transport to Little Rock. I’ve blogged about it before. HERE’s the recipe. It’s worth talking about again.

This recipe is the best combination of everything. Sugar. Strawberries. Memories.

Sweet, sweet memories.

Here are today’s pictures.

Perfect breakfast this morning:)

    Strawberry cupcakes for breakfast? Okay!

Reminds me of my quest to find my Nanny’s strawberry cake recipe. It brought up some great conversations among my cousins and aunts, my mom and me. Know who finally came up with “the” recipe? My uncle’s ex-wife!

    Aren’t old family recipes wonderful?

Wish I could watch you and Debbie on Channel 11 tomorrow. Maybe I’ll get hubby to go to Mom’s tonight and DVR it for me.

Loved the segment on tv and getting to spend time with your afterwards. And, of course, that strawberry cake is wonderful!
